Setting up and Managing Surf

SurfLiquid is designed to be easy to use even if you're not a DeFi expert. This section will guide you through setting up the agent and managing your position.

Prerequisites

To use Surf, you will need a compatible Web3 wallet (for example, MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet or Trust Wallet etc) and a supply of supported tokens to deposit. Surf currently accepts deposits in USDC, with a low minimum deposit $100 USDC to keep it accessible. The agent currently operates on select networks (like Base or other EVM chains), so your funds should be on a supported chain, or you should be ready to bridge them. No deep DeFi knowledge is required to start - SurfLiquid is designed to be plug-and-play for both hardcore DeFi Degens and newcomers alike.

Before proceeding, ensure your wallet is funded with a bit of the network’s native token (e.g. ETH for gas on Ethereum or Base or S for gas on Sonic) is also necessary to cover transaction fees.
